We’ve seen how moderators can add attendees to their events; however, students and guests can also self-register for events.
In ConexED, each group user with the faculty/staff role and above can create an event, and each user’s group has a Workshop/Classroom Listing page where the group users’ events can be publicized. Guests who arrive on the public-facing listing page can read a description of the event or events and register for them by clicking the Register Now! button as shown in Figure 1.

When the guest clicks the Register Now! button, they will be prompted to log in and then the registration form will open as shown in Figure 2.
Accessing the URL
The Workshop/Classroom Listing page URL is available to group managers in the group settings as shown in Figure 3.

Sharing the URL
In addition to bookmarking the URL and sharing it via chat or email, the URL can be shared in creative ways too.
- Create a button on a webpage and hyperlink the URL as in Figure 4.

2. Use a QR code generator found online, and add the code to a poster or sign or a webpage as in Figure 5.
